Welcome to ProDex. We build productivity software designed to empower your routines, habits, tasks, focus sessions, and schedules while keeping your personal privacy completely under your control. ProDex operates on a privacy-first, local-first architecture. Your tasks, habits, schedules, study logs, notes, and attendance records are stored strictly on your personal Android device using secure local storage (Hive / SQLite). No personal data is uploaded to external servers or sold to third parties.

2. Information Collection & Android Permissions

To provide time-sensitive task reminders, focus timer alarms, habit tracking, and voice briefings, ProDex requests access to specific Android system permissions:

• Notifications (`POST_NOTIFICATIONS`): Required solely to deliver task reminders, habit streak alerts, and alarm notifications locally on your device.
• Exact Alarms (`SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM` / `USE_EXACT_ALARM`): Essential for scheduling precise task alarm notifications at exact user-configured times.
• Foreground Services (`FOREGROUND_SERVICE` / `FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE`): Required to keep the Pomodoro focus timer active and play user-selected alarm audio when focus sessions or routine blocks complete.
• Voice Reminders (Text-To-Speech): Uses the Android system Text-To-Speech engine to announce task briefings aloud when explicitly requested by the user. No voice recordings or audio files are recorded, stored, or transmitted.
• Device Vibration: Triggers haptic feedback during task alerts and timer completions.
• No Background Location, Camera, or Contact Access: ProDex does not request or track your geographic location, camera, microphone, or contacts list.

5. Data Retention & User Data Deletion Rights

Because your productivity data resides strictly on your device, you have complete authority over its deletion:

• In-App Deletion: Deleting any task, routine, habit, or note in ProDex permanently erases it immediately from your local storage.
• Complete App Reset: Navigate to Settings > Apps > ProDex > Storage > Clear Storage to wipe 100% of application data instantly.
• Uninstalling the App: Uninstalling ProDex automatically removes all locally saved application databases.

6. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

ProDex is built for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take prompt corrective steps.
